Poverty

Why it Matters

Poverty strips away stability, dignity, and hope. Jesus fed the hungry, welcomed the poor, and commanded us to care for “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40). When churches meet basic needs - food, shelter, clothing - they reflect God’s compassion and justice. More than charity, this is about building lasting relationships and pointing people toward the Bread of Life who meets every need, physical and spiritual.

Impact Stats

Over 1.2 million Georgians face food insecurity.

Families with children make up 40% of Georgia’s homeless population.
