Prison

Why it Matters

The incarcerated are often forgotten—but not by God. Jesus said, “I was in prison and you visited me” (Matthew 25:36). Every person behind bars bears God’s image and is redeemable through Christ. Church-led prison ministry brings gospel hope to isolated hearts, offers life-giving discipleship, and strengthens families affected by incarceration. As we remember those in prison, we fulfill a call to radical compassion and second chances.

Impact Stats

Over 50,000 individuals are incarcerated in Georgia.

Inmates participating in faith-based programs show significantly reduced recidivism.

Inmate Ministry Leader

Behind bars, I met Jesus. It was a Bible study from a local church that changed my life. Today, I lead devotions in my unit.
