There are two ways all ages can participate:
As a church or association
Rally your church or local association to connect with a local need, collect items and deliver the backpacks. We’ll help by providing a How-To Guide so you will know the best items to collect and help with ideas of how to get the backpacks into the hands of those who need them.
Get involved in one of our regional backpack events! Collect items and come together with other Georgia Baptists in your region for a hands-on missions experience of sorting, packing, and praying over backpacks that will be used to bless children/teens in your region.
When do I get started?
January – March
The details are being finalized and project plans will be unveiled in late March.
April – November
Needs are year-round which means you can plan your church or associational Mission Georgia backpack project when it works best for you! Or join in one of the regional backpack events.
Celebrate lives touched through Mission Georgia backpacks and our Georgia Baptist family who made it happen!
What can I do now?
Spread the word
